Make Lake Nighthorse a “no-wake lake;” and you could open it tomorrow. No pollution problem, fence the places that the public should stay out of, and let the public use it.
Spend the afternoon on the beaches within walking distance, wet a line, take a nap, whatever.
This would give time for the parties that are involved to come up with a permanent solution and give the public a break this summer.
