Orange and Blue equals solid gold

It took overtime for Jerami Grant and No. 2 Syracuse to get out from under Jabari Parker and No. 17 Duke, but overtime was Grant’s specialty. Grant scored eight points in overtime and finished with a career-high 24 points in the Orange’s 91-89 victory Saturday night in Syracuse, N.Y., to remain undefeated this season at 21-0 overall and 8-0 in their first season in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Parker had 15 points and nine rebounds before fouling out in regulation for Duke (17-5, 6-3 ACC) in a matchup of the two winningest coaches in Division I history – the Blue Devils’ Mike Krzyzewski and the Orange’s Jim Boeheim.
