Oregonians enjoy trip to Durango

In August, my wife and I visited Colorado. It had been 51 years since I was stationed in Colorado Springs in the U.S. Air Force.

Our last four days were spent in Durango – the first time we had ever been there. What we found was a very nice city, clean, neat and very friendly. We were impressed with Durango, especially with the stores we visited and the people we encountered.

During our visit, our 2021 Toyota Venza needed a 5,000 mile service. We stopped by Durango Toyota and we were quite impressed with the service we received there.

We took a trip on the Durango & Silverton Narow Gauge Railroad. Again, a very nice experience.

We had visited other places in Colorado, from Rocky Mountain National Park to Durango and Mesa Verde. We enjoyed Durango the most, and hopefully this won't be our last trip there. We throughly enjoyed our visit and were quite impressed with what the city has to offer.
