Come on, people. Soon we will get another chance to vote on a small increase to help our libraries. The Durango Library is a wonderful place to spend some time, read, check out your favorite book or video or sit by the river. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
The Pine River Library is a gem. Voted one of the best small libraries in the country a few years ago and a place I spend lots of time. It’s so much more than just a library. It has classes of all kinds, conversation groups, painting classes, movies, a playground for the kids and a wonderful garden. It hosts many events all year long. They are asking for about $35 a year on your tax bill to help them out. You would hardly notice it. Please help them. They are worth every penny.
