Seniors Outdoors announces events
Seniors Outdoors will host these events:
A hard hike at a moderate pace is planned to climb Spencer Peak on Saturday. There will be some brush, exposed trail and talus. Dogs are welcome but owners must RSVP to Jane Marie Johnson at janemarie@frontier.net or call (727) 410-2318.
The Monday Durango Area Bike Ride will begin at Home Depot. Helmets and gloves are required. For more information, call Jim Newman at 884-7717 or email Newmanji10@aol.com.

The Seniors Outdoors general meeting will take place Tuesday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave. A social time will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Author and pilot Bob Thompson will present his perspectives of the Missionary Ridge Fire of 2002.

The Wednesday Wanderers hike will be on the Colorado Trail to Gudy’s Rest From the upper trail head. Dogs are not allowed. Non-members should RSVP to Dale Suran or Dee Rodman at 382-9600
