Seniors Outdoors announces events
Seniors Outdoors will host these activities:
John Martin will lead a snowshoeing group in the mountains Saturday. An avalanche beacon and shovel will be required. Turn-backs with a partner may be permitted. Dogs are allowed. An easy, basic snowshoe is planned Sunday on the old Lime Creek Road. Dogs are allowed. To RSVP, email Rich Butler at rbbutler54@gmail.com or call 403-3185.
A cross country ski or snowshoe, mostly above 11,000 feet, from Gladstone to Storm Peak Basin with Howard Drake will take place Tuesday. Dogs are not allowed. To RSVP, call Connie Webbe at 382-0009 or email cawebbe@gmail.com.
The Wednesday Wanderers will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Rita Park to walk the Animas River Trail. RSVP is not required. Dogs must be on a leash. For more information, call Eric Pahlke at 247-1130.
