Seniors Outdoors announces events

Seniors Outdoors will host these events:

The Seniors Outdoors! U.S. Highway 550 Cleanup will take place Saturday in Hermosa. To help clean up two sections of the highway, RSVP to Rich Butler at rbbutler54@gmail.com or call 403-3185

The Wednesday Wanderers will hike in Horse Gulch from Telegraph Hill to Pautsky Point. Dogs are not allowed. Nonmembers should RSVP to Dennis Aronson at 259-5045.

A hike is planned for Oct. 24 on the Pine River Trail. There will be two hiking groups for two different distances. Early turn-backs with a partner will be allowed. Dogs on leashes or under voice control are allowed. To RSVP, call Nancy Mead at 259-5978 or email nancy.a.mead@gmail.com.

DHS Ski Club to screen ski movie ‘Trial and Error’

The Durango High School Ski Club will show Whiteroom Production’s ski movie, “Trial and Error,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Durango High School Auditorium.

Tickets are $8. There will be a raffle with prizes.
