Leftover hunting licenses to go on sale
Leftover big-game hunting licenses will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Colorado Parks and Wildlife offices and hunting license retailers.
Leftover licenses are limited licenses that did not sell during the annual license-draw process. In addition to the approximately 33,000 elk licenses, 6,800 deer licenses and 3,800 pronghorn licenses, more than 1,500 bear licenses and 120 fall turkey licenses will go on sale.
Hunters can find a list of wildlife offices and license retailers at www.cpw.state.co.us. License purchasers who are out of state or unable to get to a license agent can call (800) 244-5613 beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Online purchasing of licenses will be delayed until 12:01 a.m. Wednesday to keep distribution fair.
A list of licenses is available online. The online list will be updated every 15 minutes once sales begin.
