Seniors Outdoors announces activities
Seniors Outdoors will offer these activities:
A Saturday Snowshoe with John Martin will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday. Details for these Saturday snowshoe hikes will be emailed about two days in advance. Martin will announce on which trips an avalanche beacon is highly recommended. A shovel will be required on all trips. Turn backs with a partner may be permitted. The cost to carpool will be from $3 to $8, depending on destination. Dogs are allowed. To RSVP, call John Martin at 749-4056 or email mudpatch22@gmail.com.
Skating at Chapman Hill Ice Rink will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The cost is $6, or $5 for seniors (60 and older). The cost for skate rental is $3. No RSVP is required. For information, call Nancy Mead at 259-5978 or 403-2630.
Wednesday Wanderers will hike the Animas River Trail at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. No RSVP is required. Dogs must be on leash per city ordinance. For more information, call Eric Pahlke at 247-1130.
