Native Plant Society to host annual trip
The San Juan/Four Corners Native Plant Society will host its annual trip to Sand Canyon in Cortez on Wednesday.
The free wildflower walk is open to everyone.

Seniors Outdoors will offer these activities:
A Monday bike ride for intermediate road cyclists will take place at 9 a.m. Monday. This is a no-drop, social ride of 16 miles from Home Depot to Bread. A hike from Purgatory Flats to the Animas River will take place at 9 a.m. Monday. The cost to carpool is $4. Dogs are allowed. To RSVP, email Rich Butler at rbbutler54@gmail.com or call 403-3185.
Wednesday Wanderers will hike the Box Canyon, Transfer and Rim trails loop in Mancos at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. This hike will be an interpretive hike led by MK Thompson of the San Juan Mountains Association into an area of the Mancos River. The hike is estimated to be three hours. Participants are asked to bring lunch or a substantial snack. Dogs are not allowed. Nonmembers should RSVP to Lydine Hannula at 884-9052. The cost to carpool is $7.

The Seniors Outdoors Singles group will take part in the New Moon Astro Tour from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Durango Nature Center.
