John D. Graham, 65, of Pagosa Springs died at the scene of an April 12 motorcycle crash on Highway 160 between Bayfield and Pagosa in Archuleta County. The crash happened at 3:52 p.m.
According to the Colorado State Patrol incident report, alcohol and excessive speed were suspected as contributing factors. Graham was not wearing a helmet.
CSP Trooper Jonathan Silver reported that Graham was eastbound on 160 on his 2009 Harley Davidson. While negotiating a curve, he crossed over the centerline and the westbound lane and ran off the road.
