Parents who do not vaccinate are stupid

I cannot understand parents who would allow their children to take a chance, not only on affecting other children, but allowing their own child to die from a disease we have virtually eliminated. I’m talking about polio, measles and, the terrible disease, whooping cough, that killed many children when my mother was young.

I wish these parents could join Ayn Rand in a walled village of their own – preferably with a bubble dome that would not only keep the viruses from going back into the real world, but may also keep these misguided parents’ stupidity from plaguing the rest of the world.

I use “stupidity” because there is too much information on these diseases to just label these parents as ignorant!
