Beginning Monday, June 7, the central parking lot at Santa Rita Park will be closed because of site construction activity. The parking lot will be closed for the duration of construction through early November.
All other parking will be open to the public, including parking north of the playing field and adjacent to the playground.
The construction project will replace two lighted sand volleyball courts, a lighted basketball court and picnic shelter that were displaced during the development of the Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility. Parking improvements will also occur to address degraded asphalt.
