Partnerships offer grant opportunity

Three Rivers Teacher Quality Partnership and Southwest Teacher Quality Partnerships are offering a grant opportunity to complete a one-year residency while receiving a $55,000 living wage salary to seek a master’s degree and work alongside a mentor teacher.

The Four Corners is facing a teacher shortage. This opportunity supports area school districts in locating, training and keeping high-quality secondary science, secondary math and special education teachers.

Coursework is completed online. Upon completion, participants are prepared to teach secondary math or science class or serve special education students and complete the initial licensure process.

For candidate eligibility requirements, visit www.padlet.com/SWTQP/information.

For more information, contact Bobbie Zemanak-White at bzemanekwhite@3riversed.org or (505) 486-4874.

This grant is through the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) Three Rivers Education Foundation.
