Pass 3A to keep our schools well funded

Durango’s children are our future, and they deserve the resources and education to make them competitive with others in our state and country for scholarships and jobs.

Durango 9-R is currently using outdated curriculum and resources. At the high school, our department has not had the funds to purchase up-to-date texts and materials since 2003.

If we do not pass the mill levy, the “negative factor” will only continue to worsen, and our students will be forced to deal without having enough textbooks for each student, a problem that affects our ability to maximize classroom instruction time.

Our students deserve a chance to have quality texts, technology and materials that represent our diversity and support all students to succeed.

Pass ballot issue 3A so that we can fund the resources needed for a competitive, current education.
