Pediatric Associates of Durango now provides fully integrated healthcare. We believe in treating the child as a whole, not only attending to physical health, but also to emotional health, habits, and behaviors that affect overall wellness.
Kim Kelley, M.Ed., is a licensed professional counselor with over 25 years of experience as a mental health provider. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from North Texas State University and a Master of Education degree in counseling from the University of North Texas. Kelley is also a licensed school counselor and has worked in K-12 grade schools to provide emotional support as well as coordinate 504 services. Kelley uses cognitive behavioral techniques and is an EMDR certified therapist.
Kelley is available to provide consultations, screen patients for behavioral health issues, educate and coach parents, coordinate care with schools, provide brief interventions, and give referrals to supportive community resources.
Bill Streusand, M.D., is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with nearly 40 years of experience as a provider and medical director in various inpatient and outpatient settings. He was chief of psychiatry at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin and is co-founder of the Texas Child Study Center. He has practiced and promoted integrated behavioral health care for many years. Streusand is available for on-going collaboration with our practice, as well as for diagnostic evaluations and medical consultation.
