Penny Fisher, owner and president of BPX Durango Inc., a tax preparation and IRS representation service in Durango, was recently elected to the vice president position on the board of directors for the Colorado Society of Enrolled Agents.
Fisher has sat on the COSEA board for two years and will now be the lead for a government relations committee headed to the state Capitol in January 2020 to educate and inform our state representatives about the work enrolled agents perform for the state and the nation, as well as vital tax reform agenda items.
Fisher is an enrolled agent, licensed by the federal government to assist taxpayers with IRS and state tax issues. Enrolled agents advocate on behalf of the taxpayer.
