Philanthropic Educational Organization Chapter CS announces that Morgan Allen of Durango High School and Katie Deming of Bayfield High School are the 2019 recipients of the Dorothy Gore PEO Scholarship. Each will be awarded $1,500.

The two students were chosen for their academic achievement, leadership ability, desire to create positive change and dedication to their community.

Allen plans to study animal science, and Deming will major in elementary education.
