PEO awards scholarship
Philanthropic Education Organization Colorado Chapter CS recently awarded its Dorothy Gore Scholarship to Durango High School student Lily Sue Longan.
She will receive $1,500 in scholarship funding for outstanding academic achievement and leadership ability.
Longan plans to attend Colorado State University and major in psychology with the ultimate goal to become a child psychiatrist.
PEO is dedicated to celebrating the advancement of women, promoting educational opportunities for women and motivating women to achieve their highest aspirations.
