In the early 1900s, cars were still considered somewhat of a novelty in Durango. They made good subject matter for studio pictures, as evidenced by these four men who chose this open touring car as the setting for their group photo in 1912. Pictured are, from left, Frank Zuzick, Tony Smith, Al Andrews and Vic Bloom. The meaning of “HBU” on the side of the vehicle is unknown.
