After a wet week, warmer and drier weather Friday offered a chance for people to get outside on the Animas River Trail. The weekend forecast should allow for more outdoor activities. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 64 degrees Saturday under sunny skies, with a slight chance of showers after 5 p.m. Sunday will be cooler, with a high of 54 and a 30 percent chance showers before noon.
