With a little help from a friend, a skateboarder cruises Thursday along the Animas River Trail behind the Durango Public Library under clear skies and warm temperatures. Daytime high temperatures of around 70 degrees are expected to continue through Sunday before dropping slightly into the high 60s for early next week, according to the National Weather Service. The long-range forecast calls for a chance of rain or snow showers on Wednesday evening.
