Dry conditions extend Thursday from south of Durango into the La Plata Mountains. The Four Corners is in severe drought status, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor map released this week. Sunny and warm weather will continue through the weekend. The National Weather Service predicts highs in the low 60s through Sunday.
