Landon McNeil, an employee with General Acrylics, uses a blower to clear the Escalante Middle School track on Tuesday as a crew prepares to paint lines on the new surface. The Durango School District 9-R school board included the cost of new asphalt and mat for the track to the loan a district took out for the Durango High School stadium and field renovation project.
