Durango Fire Protection District firefighters contain a fire that destroyed a 25-foot 1991 Fleetwood motor home on Thursday just north of Florida Road (County Road 240) near the Cliffs Subdivision entrance. According to Fire Marshal Karola Hanks, Charles Ivan Folsom, owner of the motor home, was working on the battery and had to run into town. On his way back, he saw the smoke, heard the sirens and knew something was going on. The fire spread into oak and pine trees, burning a small area.
