Kellie Hall jumps in excitement after seeing a balloon inflate Friday evening during the Downtown Durango Balloon Glow. “I’ve never seen a hot air balloon up close before so this is really awesome,” Hall said. Weather permitting, mass ascensions will be held at 8:15 a.m. Saturday and Sunday near Hermosa Meadows Road north of Durango in the Animas Valley.
