Luke Sandoval, 10, and Micah Millener, 10, ride through a skills course during the Walk ‘n’ Roll-a-Thon event Friday at Needham Elementary. The course was designed to help students practice bike skills, such as turning, controlling their bike and navigating obstacles. The event was in association with the city of Durango’s Safe Routes to School program.
