Little Lego robot houses have popped up around Durango, courtesy of the “Lego bomber,” aka Sam Bridgham. This one in front of Maria’s Bookshop on Main Avenue is among the smaller ones. “Ugly grey posts are everywhere,” Bridgham said, so adding a bit of color and fun seems appropriate. He has rules – he doesn’t ask for permission and no glue or pins are allowed. They slide up and down the posts, except in the cold weather so “they’re really barometers,” he said. Watch for a Lego bombing near you.
