The driver of a Subaru Outback was issued a citation for careless driving after rear-ending a Jeep that was stopped on East Third Avenue at the three-way intersection with 15th Street and Florida Road about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, said Durango Police Department Sgt. Will Sweetwood. The force of the impact knocked the Jeep and the Subaru into the intersection, and traffic was blocked for about 20 minutes.
