“Next to Normal,” opened Thursday at Durango Arts Center and will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Thursday, Aug. 31, Sept. 6, 7 and 8. There will be a 2 p.m. matinee Sept. 9. The play is about a family dealing with the mental illness of one of its members. Tickets are $22 for DAC members and $25 general admission and are available at
