A light rain falls on the Elkhorn Fire on Wednesday evening north of Durango. According to the U.S. Forest Service with an update on Thursday, the fire has burned 317 acres with 5% containment. Two additional Interagency Hotshot crews are working the fire and a Wildland Fire Module is working in the Bear Creek drainage that is steep and challenging. (Jerry McBride/Durango Herald)
