In case you don’t have a calendar, haven’t noticed the change of temperatures or noticed the fall colors, the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot’s display of a giant inflatable pumpkin is a sure sign of things to come. The display is to promote the train’s special Great Pumpkin Patch Express that runs Saturdays and Sundays in October starting Oct. 8.
