Mikaela Saunderson with Sunshine Gardens decorates a wall Wednesday in the assisted-living facility to honor residents, family members and staff who have served in the armed forces. Saunderson has created the honor walls at three of Sunshine Gardens’ locations. At 10 a.m. Aug. 2, an unveiling ceremony will be held with members of the Honor Guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and more.
