Spider-Man, a.k.a. Ricki Gilmour, of Cortez, along with more than 600 runners took part in this year’s Durango Running Club’s Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning at Fort Lewis College. The event is sponsored by Mercy Regional Medical Center. This year, proceeds will go to Manna Soup Kitchen. In addition, each year some proceeds will go to a different nonprofit animal shelter.
