Iggy Gilbert, a ski instructor with Durango Parks and Recreation, works with Tova Street, 7, on Tuesday afternoon during Ski School at Chapman Hill. Ski lessons are offered from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and snowboard lessons are from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. Classes are for two weeks. Private lessons are also available. Tova is the daughter of Nicole and Rob Street.
Bronwyn Chamberlain, 3, takes a break from learning to ski at Chapman Hill on Tuesday to taste what she is sliding down on. Bronwyn is the daughter of Moe and Jeff Chamberlain.
