About 50 riders took part Friday in the Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering’s Cowboy Poet Trail Ride at Rapp Corral, north of Durango. The Cowboy Parade will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday on Main Avenue, beginning at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot and proceeding to 12th Street. A chuckwagon breakfast will be held before the parade from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the corner of Fifth Street and Main Avenue.
