Five hundred balloons filled with $500 in prizes were dropped from the skylight area in the Main Mall on Saturday as part of the Fabulous Fall Red Balloon Event put on by the Business Improvement District. The daylong downtown shopping event was a celebration of downtown businesses along with giving away $2,500 in gift certificates in prize packages.
