Ronald Grubb, aka “Rambo,” of the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad drives a spike into a railroad tie Tuesday between Eighth and Ninth streets in downtown Durango. The railroad is replacing about 100 ties in the block, and the weather should be ideal to continue the work. The National Weather Service is forecasting sunny skies with highs in the 50s through Friday.
