Carla Vigil is escorted down the red carpet on Friday during the Night to Shine Prom at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. Ninety participants and about 300 volunteers filled the Exhibit Building for the evening that was sponsored by the River Church and First Baptist Church Durango and the Tim Tebow Foundation. The night included volunteers doing hair, makeup, corsages, limousine rides, five-star dinner, photo booth and a DJ for the dance. At the end of the night all participants are crowned king and queen.
