An early sign of spring – crocuses – bloom around the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave. More flowers and buds are likely to appear soon, as sunny, warm temperatures are expected throughout Southwest Colorado through the week and into the weekend. Daytime highs in Durango are expected to reach the low 70s on Wednesday, and continue at least through Sunday, according the National Weather Service.
