Demons turn their attention to SWL play
Piedra Vista, the runner-up last year in New Mexico Class 4A volleyball, beat the Durango Demons 3-0 on Tuesday night at Durango High School.
Piedra Vista (4-3) won 25-14, 25-17, 25-20, according to MaxPreps.com.
No further statistics were available, and a call to the head coach was not returned late Tuesday night.
Durango (7-4) will host Grand Junction Central at 6 p.m. Friday at DHS and Grand Junction at 11 a.m. Saturday on its home court in the Demons’ Southwestern League openers.
