In order to align services with the state COVID-19 Risk Dial, Pine River Library has developed a Service Dial to follow as La Plata County moves between risk levels.
In order to keep the community safe and healthy, the library is following safety protocols required by the state of Colorado and San Juan Basin Public Health during all service levels, including the use of PPE and cleaning high-touch surfaces throughout the day.
Curbside service will continue to be available during all levels of the Risk Dial and the library’s Wi-Fi signal is accessible in the parking lot and Library Park 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The library’s hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. When the library is open to the public, the first hour of the day, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays is dedicated to seniors and vulnerable populations.
In accordance with the state COVID-19 Risk Dial, the library’s service levels are:
Green – Protect our Neighbors: Library is open to public, dedicated senior/vulnerable hours, limited indoor in-person programming and outdoor in-person programming.
Blue – Cautious: Library is open to public for all services with limited capacity to encourage social distancing, dedicated senior/vulnerable hours and outdoor in-person programming.
Yellow – Concern: Library is open to public for all services with limited capacity to encourage social distancing, dedicated senior/vulnerable hours, “Grab-and-Go” visits encouraged and limited outdoor in-person programming.
Orange – High Risk: Library operating via curbside service, limited browsing, computer and copy/fax/scan appointments available, DMV kiosk available by appointment and virtual programming only.
Red – Severe Risk: Library operating via curbside service, limited computer appointments available, DMV kiosk available by appointment, copy/fax/scan services provided by staff and virtual programming only.
Purple – Extreme Risk: Library closed to public, curbside services only and virtual programming only.
