Pine River Library expands digital offerings

Pine River Library has expanded its digital resources to include Creativebug, Prenda Code Club, Kanopy and

Creativebug is a collection of arts and crafts video tutorials, providing on-demand access to expert instruction in drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, baking and more.

Prenda Code Club platform allows children, teens or adults learn at their own pace and work on projects that interest them. Through tutorials and projects, users gain the skills necessary to build websites, video games, apps, animation, programs and more.

Patrons may use their library card to stream movies from home with Kanopy, a diverse selection of independent, foreign and documentary films.

The library now offers digital access to the New York Times from both inside the building and for those reading the news at home or on their phone or device.

Patrons may still use previous digital resources to learn a new language through the Mango Languages program and access A to Z World Foods, a food culture and traditional recipes database for 174 countries
