Every third Tuesday of the month, Pine River Library hosts a Death Café from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive,

A Death Café is a gathering for people to enjoy refreshments and talk openly about death. The aim is to help people make the most of their finite lives.

The Death Café is not a bereavement support or grief counseling event.

The event is facilitated by Lola Montano, a registered nurse who is pursuing her hospice certification.
