Pine River Library will host “Summer Blooms,” a collaborative art show by Bayfield watercolorist Veryl “Nadya” Rosenbaum and her son, Ronald “Tron” Blatt, a digital photographer.
The mother and son have worked together since 2010 with Rosenbaum sending her original watercolors to Blatt in Kentucky, who then creates digital imaginations of the works. The completed artwork is then dry mounted to create its own frame.
Rosenbaum has shown her work at Durango Art Center Friends of the Arts Gallery Wall, Durango Community Recreation Center, Ignacio Library and others. Blatt honed his photography talents at Michigan State College. He began with an Instamatic camera, but now uses his smartphone.
The “Summer Blooms” show will run to the end of September.
