Topics include food safety, safe food handling, cross contamination and cross contact of food allergens, temperature control for safe food preparation, storage, transport and sales, ingredient labeling, and disclaimer requirements.
The business standards and current expectations for selling food items, including backyard eggs, from private residences will also be covered.
Attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
