The Pine River is flowing high on Wednesday afternoon during the spring flush by the irrigation district.
Whitewater, anyone?
These rocks near Eagle Park are usually submerged about halfway, a place for people to stand or sit, but they were under water on Wednesday.
The Pine River Irrigation District flushed the river this week.
The process removes silt and debris from the river before irrigation season. Water rates increase from 100 cubic feet of water per second to 1,500 to 1,600 cfs for a limited period. Then rates are gradually decreased back down to 150 CFS.
