Pine River Shares has introduced Teen Time, a free, fun and productive day for teens ages 13 to 19, which is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 11 at Pine River Shares.
By participating in Pine River Shares community-led projects on Thursdays, teens can earn $25 for every six hours. Current opportunities include: working in the People’s Garden and geodesic dome greenhouse; assisting with the FreeCycle Free-For-All project; and supporting Food Share and Pop-Up Pantry programs. Ideas for teen-led community projects are welcome.
Teens can also enjoy open gym time and free lunch.
