Pine River Shares is offering services and goods to furloughed workers living in the Pine River Valley.
"We are happy to share all that has been shared with us including food, clothing, energy bill assistance and more," the group wrote in a statement. "Information and referral to other available resources is also available."
Services are available to all in the Pine River Valley, from Vallecito to Arboles and Sam Brito, Bayfield and Ignacio, and Southern Ute Nation, who are being impacted by the government shut down.
The Pine River Shares is open and available to provide assistance from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday though Thursday at 357 N. Mountain View Drive. The office can be reached at 884-6040.
