The Pinnacol Foundation awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships to 112 Colorado students for the 2017-2018 school year, including two from Durango and one from Mancos:
Ashlee Scalf of Durango, attending Colorado State University at Fort CollinsAustin Scalf of Durango, attending Colorado State University at Fort CollinsSierra Wilson of Mancos, attending Fort Lewis CollegeTo qualify for a Pinnacol Foundation scholarship, a student must be the natural child, adopted child or stepchild or full dependent of a worker who was seriously injured or killed in a compensable work-related accident while employed by a Colorado-based employer.
